Lookout

Three cranes have been visiting recently. They make quite a racket when calling out. Today I was lucky and found they were feeding in the wetland when I was wandering around. One kept his head up, alert, whilst the others foraged. I managed to get two in this shot, but not all three together. I heard another bird sounding the alarm and shortly after the three cranes flew out over the lake.
