A rather green photo

A long overdue visit to Greenbank Gardens this morning. After a night of heavy rain many of the tall flowers, like Helenium, were almost flattened to the ground.

The leaves, dressed in their autumnal colours, were more eye catching than the flowers, but even the leaves had to take a back seat when I saw the great reflections in the rather small informal pond. No ducks or other waterfowl to disturb the stillness of the water. The grass looks like a Chinese Silver Grass but I’m not sure.
