We are still seeing the occasional monarch butterfly even though our 'nursery' is closed for the year.  These were either missed by us when we searched the milkweed in the backyard or they are simply passing through on the way to Mexico.   Isn't he lovely.

I've added an Extra photo of what I think is a very cool shot of a blue jay.  If you look closely you can see that the peanut is suspended between his/her beak.
