CORSICA - DAY 9 - CALVI TOWN

Went down to the village boulangerie for breakfast…a great deal.
##Then back for a few hours around the pool. It’s a lovely infinity pool but the rather busy road nearby doesn’t make it peaceful. It’s a shame but it was still great to have it to ourselves for most of the time.
Then we went into Calvi Town for a walk up to the Citadel and the birthday place of Christopher Columbus…(apparently )
#this was the view from the top over looking the marina. We also stopped for lunch…fish soup, sea bream and panna cotta…great price at 25€ each.
#then we went to calvi main beach….it was ridiculously windy but great to watch the kite surfing!!! The Rev took about 600 photos (I’m not exaggerating!!!!!!!)
We went back to yesterdays beach…still a bit windy but less so.
We had supper on the balcony…
#with a glass of wine watching the sunset.
Now off for an evening dip in the pool.
