My girls

Grace’s day off but Eda still had to go to school of course.
She was taken on the bike and then it was just the three of us for the morning.
No time to do anything exciting as a big supermarket shop was required for Saturday’s party.
At Green Park an old station (Midland) next door to Sainsbury’s has been converted into a covered market with food stalls so we indulged in coffee and gluten full pastries to stoke us up for the shop. Jude has bagged Grace’s Pain au Chocolate in this picture where she’s wearing one of the two tops I got her for her birthday. The other has a number 2 on the front in the form of a duck.

Traffic was shocking in the city as there are lots of road closures and diversions at the moment. A bit of a stress as Grace had to be back at a Eda’s school for 12.30 to pick her up and also for an appointment with her teacher, her first parent consultation and she’s not been there a full three weeks yet!
All was well, she soon forgets leaving mummy it daddy when she gets in the classroom and she is apparently very good at blending her letters in preparation for reading.

I stayed home and with Jude to give her lunch. While she had her nap Eda and mummy were sorting some clothes for Eda’s lamb. (Apparently it’s feeling cold). The hat she’s wearing
is one I knit for Grace many years ago based on a strawberry pattern but I think it may have a new owner, I think a beret suits her.
Boppa (Chris) arrived and then it was time to get Jude up and head into Larkhall for Eda’s ballet class.

Both parents are out again tonight so there was a bit of tag team bathing and bed time story reading. Boppa seems popular at the moment in the reading stakes. The more the merrier I say.
Another fun but busy day in Bath.
