Bargains

Out on Sherkin island today for work and a few chats. There are more than 50 Ukrainian refugees living on the island with the last few months, a rise of about 50% in the island population. Judy on the left is working with them, helping organise things. She used to be our librarian on Cape Clear some years back. The other woman is Ukrainian, she finds it amazing to be near the sea all the time, she would have seen it on rare occasions before. In the picture they were discussing shoes, Judy explaining what the word bargain means..
