Medusa

Today we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, where we met with an old friend of mine, Anne. Jill and I got there about an hour before she did. We went to Joker (in extras) and waited in line. The ride began testing after the park opened, but it didn't open for another hour. The other rides also began testing after the park opened. That didn't help us for time.

Eventually we rode it. It was really fun, but it wasn't anything special, which was strange for the company that built it. Usually a ride focuses on airtime or inversions, and this was kind of a mix that didn't really know what it should do well.

Medusa was the standout ride for me. It was incredibly smooth and has a great layout. Sadly, a few rides were not open. And Anne and I spent an hour in line for a simple Boomerang. She liked it, but we could have ridden something more exciting instead.
