At Stationers' Hall

I was a guest tonight at a formal dinner at Stationers' Hall. It's a wonderfully grand building with lots of gilded plasterwork and heraldic banners.

I got to wondering, now that stationery is becoming an increasingly rare commodity, who is eligible to join the Stationers' Guild today? Do Kindles count as a form of modern stationery?
