Botanical Garden

A cooler day today . . . so after he'd done some work, Simon took me to the Botanical Gardens,. . . . not exactly Kew, but a pleasant place to wander.  
I did find a few flowers for Friday, but mostly it was trees, namely Olive trees and other fruit trees. 
A lot of preparation was taking place - digging for a herb garden and a scented garden for the coming year I guess.
The area is used for weddings so we watched a bride arrive and some of the guests too. They have a dedicated building and a lovely restaurant for the occasion.
We enjoyed a cool drink by the river before heading home. . .  and a swim for me!
