Top Of The WTC

They scheduled and did lift the last section of the spire atop 1 WTC today -- I missed it -- What good is twitter if tweets come in AFTER things happen??? Anyways, this is what the top of the building looks like today before the last section is fixed on top. There are debates about whether the spire/antennae will count as a part of the official building height. If it's considered a spire and considered structural, the building will top out at 1,776 ft becoming the tallest in the Western Hemisphere. If it ends up being considered an antennae the building will be a mere 1,368 feet tall (I believe) and will rank as third tallest over here in the New World. Stay tuned...
