I went into town in the morning to do some last bits of shopping. I saw the girls in the shop and caught up with all the news before returning home for a walk across the fields. The afternoon was given over to packing and digesting the measures in the mini budget. I am appalled that the inequalities of wealth have been made even wider at this time of economic crisis.
