St Bees

To day I did a short uphill climb to St Bees, with an ex-teacher friend, stopping to take photos at various points.  As you can see the day has been mostly sunny, definitely better than yesterday.  However, clouds were with us some darker than others.  No rain fell on us.  I chose this photograph as you can see the Fells in the distance along with turbines.  This is great place for children to play, dog walkers and those who want to sit with backs to the prom wall and get the warmth of the sun, when it is shining of course.  We had ice creams today too.  
Even had my first dental appointment in over a year and everything was fine.  The surgery has had new dentists join after struggling to fill quotas, so we are up and running. 
Tomorrow is 'Taste Cumbria' in Cockermouth.  In the afternoon there is a steam train travelling from Carlisle and passing stations on this seaside line too.  Have a good weekend everybody.
