Last of the summer swims?

We ambled (or 'swimbled', the term used for slow swimming & nattering) around Loughrigg Tarn for 20 minutes this morning, before we realised it was a little cold for those of us wearing swimsuits.  We'll be wearing neoprene soon enough.
(There are still water-lily leaves at the edge of the water, not blue-green algae.)
