On the beach

We had some rain yesterday evening the first for awhile.  This morning however developed into a sunny warm day.  I went to a lunchtime Pilates class the first for a little while.  Late afternoon I thought I needed to go for a stroll and also find a blip so I headed for town and a walk along the beach.  It was so warm and calm by the beach, several people were enjoying a swim or kayak ride and the local fishermen were sorting their fishing boats out.  The cooler northerly wind was apparent however around the open estuary area.  

Sad to hear that Hilary Mantel has passed away.  She was often spotted here and was such a talented novelist.
