After yesterdays heavy rain we were pleased to see sunshine this am. A& I walked around the island (6 miles) finding rocky paths and beaches that we didn’t get to on our last visit 5 years ago. 3/4s of the way round we stopped for lunch at Little Arthur Cafe where I found this lovely starflower (borage) in my salad.

Another floral treat here are the Jersey Lillies that grow in pretty clumps amongst bracken, or anywhere they fancy, with dark red stems and pink flowers no leaves.
