After school

We had a busy old time after school.  A climb in the tree outside school, imaginatively called 'the climbing tree' and has probably had hundreds of children climb its branches over the years.  We then went to the park, as I'd promised the boys a trip when we were on the way to school.  After the park, it was a trip to the library as the books were due back. 

Home, and the eldest asked to bake something from the baking library book he had got out, so he has made Granny some biscuits (all by himself). 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Lunchtime walk with the husband 
The eldest asking to make something for Granny 
The youngest who loves exploring his boundaries and running off energy
