London

Today was a day in London with No.2. First stop an appointment in Westfield to sort out some banking issue that couldn’t be resolved over the phone. I thought we were going to shop but No.2 had other ideas. We caught the tube to Holborn and after some brunch (two poached eggs and two coffees - £30) we visited the John Soanes museum in Holborn. Not your usual museum but a house lived in by the architect of the same name which has been unchanged for almost 300 years. Very interesting. We
wandered for a bit afterwards and enjoyed an ice cream in Covent Garden (no2 said I shouldn’t comment about the price of things so I won’t mention it). Back to Bow to see the flat which I haven’t visited since he moved in. Cup of tea and a quick chat to D who was visiting for dinner. Headed home by 8.00 exhausted.
