We were surprised to see this fox-shaped wooden boat in the market square of Allendale Town this morning. We think it is something to do with the folk festival which is being held this weekend but we were told that it going to be burned tonight at 7.00pm so not to remain parked where we were! They have a tar barrel festival on New Year’s Eve which involves a lot of fire so setting light to things is what they do there.
