Wild & Not...
I had a trip to WWT Martin Mere today. It's an autumn/winter place for me as I love the geese & swans. But, the forecast for the west coast was much better than for here...so off I went in the hope of butterflies & dragonflies.
Well, it wasn't that sunny or that warm! I had a lovely few hours wandering around with friends but didn't really see much. A juv cormorant, 2 cattle egrets & a fly agaric make the 'wild side' extras.
There was a birds of prey exhibition there today. I would much rather see these birds in the wild, however, a close up of this white tailed eagle just had to be done.
I've blipped a thumbnail of 'potentially wild' with a full pic of 'obviously not.'
