OUTWARD BOUND

All day the air has vibrated to the sound of powerful cars  . . . the 2022 Trackrod Rally Yorkshire Service Area is literally around the corner and entries pass by the bottom of the garden.
For the first time there was no entry to plebs like me into the garage and servicing areas. I expect H&S were given an excuse by some idiot. Some large Class Entries . . . including 13 vehicles in the Land Rover Section.
Most of the cars seem to have returned after Forest Stage Two, only 7 listed as retired. Grand to see so many teams from all over the UK. Extra shows After Stage . . . returning home with just a tad of muck onboard.
No time today for the NYMR Steam Gala . . . hopefully tomorrow.
