Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta

We were up early this morning to get to the Knavesmire for the mass balloon launch at 7.00am. There were only about a dozen balloons, which was a bit disappointing but apparently it was too windy for the bigger ones. They staggered the lift offs so it was not really a mass event but still a great spectacle, if a little chilly.

Afterwards we walked into York and warmed up with a coffee and a bacon sandwich.

Home by 9.30 a.m. and the whole day ahead of us!
