Monmouth

We cycled the nine miles into Monmouth (South Wales, UK) as Mrs BB had an 11am opticians appointment and needed to drop her cycle in for a service.

Midday, when Mrs BB came from her appointment we went to Greggs and bought some coffees to drink on the riverbank, enjoying the sun and view of this ancient fortified Monnow Bridge (1272AD) over the River Monnow - the only remaining one in Great Britain.

After some shopping at the Saturday market, we collected her cycle and got home mid afternoon to enjoy the rest of the sunny day at home.
