Is it really Saturday?

We both woke this morning convinced it was Monday so it made for an odd start. As the oiled worktops needed another few hours to dry before we out the appliances back in them, I nipped to our local drive through bakery and picked up bacon rolls and coffee. A good start to the day.

Mr PHL headed off to a scale model show at Murrayfield just before lunchtime and Phin and I had a very lazy afternoon. He slept beside me as I watched episodes of the Crown and did some work on my blanket.

Leftover takeaway for dinner and it’s time for the first live show of this season’s Strictly.
