Propper Parenting

My eldest daughter, Mia, is 18 today and my present to her was a tattoo. Actually we got twin tattoos - her idea. A photographer in the tattoo parlour described it as "propper parenting" which I liked.

For her 9th birthday I took Mia to see Leonard Cohen in Dublin. The tattoo - one of Picasso's doves - was used on the film documentary of Cohen's 1972 tour of Europe, which began in Dublin, called 'Bird on a Wire'.

In the extras - a young man getting a full leg tattoo. A long term project which started in February.
