A bumper crop

Of chestnuts this year, I spotted this abundance of nuts whilst trying to find my running legs having ridden out the ParkRun start. Starting at the back of the 70 or so participants I passed 50 or so of them to finish 7th with another short 21 minute 5k.
After an eye test and quick sandwich for lunch I managed to coax auntie out of her chair and over to the surgery for her flu jab.
A quick weekly shopping trip and then a couple of hours in the kitchen preparing meals for the weekend and in particular a fish pie for Sunday lunch.
