Favourite toy

The furry bundle is racing towards me with his green tyre, a favourite for me to throw so that he can chase it, retrieve it and return it to me, all day long (in his dreams).
The day started on a very promising note with lots of blue sky and beautiful sunshine. Sadly, by mid morning the clouds had moved in from the north and I only saw the odd glimpse of the sun after that. However, I did manage to get the mountain of washing dry and I gave the inside of the car it’s annual vacuum clean. I felt I had earned a G&T after all that.
