There's a first time for everything

Got up reasonably early and went out hoping to find a good spot for a sunrise pick. Alas, couldn't seem to be in the right place at the right time so had to settle for this POS.
The rest of the day was spent debating, investigating , and finally deciding to do something we have talked about for years and years and never, ever, done.
And it's coming up fast.

Ah well...
