Not The Best Shot

The 'flare' (I can't remember the proper name for it) in one of today's boxes is really rather nice, but it needs the light to hit it as the box is turned to get the real effect.
I think the wood may be Ash - but don't quote me on that. The box in the extras is definitely Zebrano (Zebra wood) and its straight grain makes the matching at the base and top a lot easier.

We were 'Monster Minding' in the evening whilst Bags and S-I-L went out to friends for drinks.
Squirrel was at a party for the first half of the evening - the mother organising it is probably in the nut-house now .... half a school class of 10 year olds, in her house, for 5 hours!
I knew roughly where the house was when I went to collect Squirrel but it was easy enough to find - I just followed the racket.

This entry is technically a backblip as my laptop refused to download the pictures yesterday .... something to do with drivers needing updated. Today though ... no problem.
I will have to look into it.
