A disturbed spider beginning to rebuild its web

I stood in the garden taking a couple of pictures and must have brushed past the rudbeckia flowers in a big pot near the patio doors. I spotted the spider frantically dashing vertically downwards and immediately beginning to more filaments to rebuild its web. You can see it holding the new section under tension while preparing to spin another filament! They are amazing creatures. I must apologise to it for the damage I caused.
