Three Dog Day

Drove out to Haddington with Peter and climbed Traprain Law. During our short walk we met three people with dogs, and each of these people had three dogs. The woman we met at the summit had two small children in addition to the requisite three dogs. The boy rushed over to us shouting: "I patted the horse!" Then his younger sister rushed over shouting - even louder: "AND I DIDN'T!" Which we thought was a wonderful piece of onedownmanship.
