Loud (and Clear)

The challenge topic for today is 'LOUD'. I may need my trusty assistant for this.

Ian is a singer and used to sing with a band. This piece of equipment was used to record their music. I can remember being recruited to watch the display for 'clipping'. If the bars went too high I had to pull back the sliders to stop the recording becoming too loud and distorting.

He doesn't use it very much in these days of higher technology. He got it out of the box in the study where it's been for some time. They tend to use computers which don't have sliders so my skill is no longer needed. Ian very kindly set this up for me so I could blip the display showing 'LOUD'.
