Go! Go! Superhero!

Back in those lovely days where I thought we were moving from our flat to our at least next-decade house I promised Arlo a big superhero party as a celebration of his 5th birthday and a goodbye to some of his old nursery pals.

Folk thought I was crazy (nothing new there) but I wasn't phased. Arlo's party was for 4th of May. We were moving on 25 May. In my head we'd have one last yeehah and then start the packing and planning etc.

Then it went tits up and we had to move the week before his birthday and all my unphased-ness went to major phased-ness and here I am the day before in THE ONLY MOMENT I'VE HAD TO MYSELF frantically making stuff for his party, when I should be drinking wine and enjoying myself.

Still. He's worth it. Next year though - joint party and that is that!
