Will they taste as good as they look?

The walled garden at Kellie Castle has many old apple trees growing in the middle of the grass and growing against the wall. I think most of the, are cooking apples but not on the scale of a Bramley.

No red windfalls and as the apples were just out of my reach I had to content myself with a photo.

The weather this morning was so much better than it is now.
Fouter and I had the best of the sunshine for our walk in the grounds of the castle.
