Visitors to Earlsferry

During the 2nd World War the Polish Paratroop Brigade was based in Elie/Earlsferry (Fife).. The Brigade presented the plaque, which is on the wall of Earlsferry Town Hall, to the local community in grateful thanks for the hospitality shown. After the war several soldier stayed in Fife marrying local girls.
Today this group were part of a larger group from Poland visiting the village so good to see them acknowledging their compatriots time in the East Neuk
