Scudder Pond

Scudder Pond is one of those places where wildlife blends in so well, it's easy to walk by and miss something. Today I was getting some pictures of a couple turtles soaking up the sun when what looked like a Virginia Rail walked out of the marsh to get a few drinks and disappeared back inside. I still haven't been able to get a picture of the beaver that lives around the area yet but I'll keep trying. It was another beautiful fall day and more sun on the way.
