Morning Has Broken: Backblip
This was sunrise at 7:22 am on our last morning in the mountains. Taken from the hotel balcony. My breath was quite taken away. I watched the sky from 7 am onwards when it was streaked with peach and purple colours which transformed to cool pinks and then finally this warm peachy glow as the rays of the rising sun filled the sky.
A memorable few days in the mountains!
Extra: collage of our Cheese Raclette meal, including the beautiful, shiny tree-trunk table with a red wine called 'Black Agate', the wood fire with a half a round of cheese starting to melt, the chef, scraping the melted cheese onto a plate and finally, my plate of cheese raclette with a tiny boiled potato sprinkled liberally with black pepper from the mill!
