In the Park

The formal garden was full of birds today, Blackbirds, Song Thrushes and even a Redwing or two. 

Watched some of the last County Cricket of the season on Sky today 
( I have cancelled Sky Cricket but can still see it for a few more days)

Today we changed all the loose covers on our sofa and chairs so we are now terracotta for the Autumn/Winter.  They have been in a cupboard for 6 months but we must have done a good job cleaning them as they smell like  they have just been washed.

Sunny all day in completely in contrast to the forecasts of high winds on big drops in temperature.

Watched some of Labour Conference.  Rachel Reeves was good but there are still too many years before any Election. Has Conference really just voted for a proportional voting system? Andy Burnham is a fan but I bet the current leadership won’t know what to do with that result.
