Today at Crummock Water it was beautiful.  The sun was out.  There was also a fresh wind making branches sway and giving you cool cheeks.  Autumn is advancing.  I parked at the usual place, Lanthwaite  and walked to the lake.  From there following the shore towards Low and High park before returning to the carpark, a good couple of hours.  Very pleasant.
