Wagtail

He's looking a bit ruffled with the strength of the wind on the west side today. I noticed that he has a ring on his left leg and I've been told that it could be a bird that was ringed not too far from this spot during the summer.
The wind was bringing in squally showers from the north west today and it was difficult walking on exposed shores. The extra photo today is of high tide at Spiggie Beach.
