Morning coffee with the very amiable Kieron from the coffee horse box at Clashganny. Early morning river walk, Basil intrigued by the lock . Stayed until lunch time , partly because we were pretty much trapped in the tiny car park by the huge volume of Sunday morning canoeist, all squeezing their jeeps into imaginative spaces that meant we couldn’t pull out .We were happy to go with the flow and stayed chatting, drinking lots of good coffee and walking . The Sunday morning enforced chill out was great . Basil had a wonderful time with sticks, rivers and children …. And polishing off cookie crumbs .
We stopped to the walk the newly restored Borris Viaduct - great views .
Home happy for dinner, bath and bed.
