Started the day with a bit of good news. Lovely Daisy is still with us! She has a tumour inside her mouth which grew rapidly over the summer. Her mum messaged me about 2 weeks ago and said they had a vets appointment the next day and thought it was time to make the awful decision to say goodbye. I assumed it had happened and was planning on taking a card and some flowers round this week when I got an email saying she rallied and they wanted to book some more walks!

I put her on my oldies walk but honestly if you didn't look at her face which is swollen then you wouldn't know there was anything wrong! She was full of beans and so excited to come out. It was lovely to see. The owners were very apologetic they'd not messaged sooner - they had been away to their holiday cottage then got Covid so just hadn't got round to it and kept expecting to have to take her back to the vets. They think that as well as the tumour she had an abscess which caused more swelling as her face has gone down a lot since the last vet visit.

Eva rode after school and I made it to yoga. I'm so stiff and decrepit though! But I enjoyed the relaxation bit at the end.
