The Chocolate Dog

Finished work and headed down to Penrith to stay overnight with a friend. Its Steve's 40th birthday this weekend and he has hired a cottage in the lakes. Penrith is a good stop over point and it's always nice to catch up with Ben and Heather.

Geoff was pleased to see us again. He has now become known as the chocolate dog at the vets after managing to eat 1kg of dried fruit and some cooking chocolate on the run up to Christmas and then polish off a box of Lindt chocolate balls a couple of weeks later. Both events resulting in a trip to the vets to be made sick.

Tonight he was unsettled as Ben wasn't at home for the night but seemed happy enough once he was in his bed with his blanket wrapped around him.
