Marsh Marigolds

Well, I've done what we've all done today - ran out of battery power halfway round the lake and no spare!! Luckily, I had taken a few shots before it completely died! Phew!

It's warm but very dull today, so the light is completely different. Not much in the way of shadows, everything seems a little flat.

I'm home now, gearing up for a macro photography course in the Peak District tomorrow. It's meant to be an Orchid Walk but I'm not sure what we'll see as Spring has been so late this year??
