Welcome Home

This is the bow of the old lifeboat Brandaris who arrived brand new after decades back on Terschelling. She was built in 1923 and found a couple of years back in service as a yacht. Het hull was still okay and she was bought by a foundation on our island. It took some years of restauration but this afternoon she finally arrived back in her original homeport. Bearing the same name as her lifeboat name: Brandaris.
I am very happy to see her back here and also very happy that she arrived back in the few days I am home.

btw: I bought a new camera and it arrived only 10 minutes before the Brandaris arrived. So these are the very first pictures with my new camera.
