Chamomile plants

Chamomile is incredibly easy to grow from seed and the seeds can easily be direct sown outside.

To futureproof my plot, I'm gradually replacing some of the grass paths with low maintenance drought-tolerant ground cover and chamomile turns out to be a perfect candidate for this.

The seedlings I had in the summer have now turned into healthy plants that are flowering and have started spreading. They release a heavenly scent when I strim them to keep them in check. 

In a few weeks I'll be dividing and replanting young plants all over the plot. This will be another enjoyable job for the autumn.
