Nice wee dog walk round Ardmore peninsula near Helensburgh this morning and having gone clockwise, we turned just before the end and did it again, anti clockwise for about 4 miles in total.
I was there with a friend on Sunday for the first time, having been meaning to go for ages. Thought I'd go back on a nice day but the sunshine was fading even as we arrived. Lovely walk with the sea on three sides. Quite breezy and autumnal feeling today but nice.
Trig point at 5m height is a bonus too There is an interesting old jetty or something on the beach at the trig point and I'm trying to work out what it is, with no success so far. Wondering if it is from the second world war? That's what my blip is.
