Dorset.

We went inland today and visited a couple of ancient Hill Forts. This photograph is taken from the ramparts of Lambert's Castle looking East towards Dorchester. Not the best of days for a photo like this but not too bad either...

The extra is a photo from another Hill Fort close by, Coney Castle is less well visited and indeed we only saw one other person walking her Dachshund 'Lofty'. The photograph is of the ancient Beech Trees growing on the lower rampart of the fort.


We had a great day in the fresh air, still warm and dry but just a bit windy...
