The usual Tuesday stuff - work, shopping and then a walk.

This is the path up behind our house. Very few people use it - back in the day, our whole family was up and down there all the time but now it's just me and the local gamekeeper when he checks on the pheasant pens and the squirrel traps. The squirrel traps aren't set at the moment and there are no young pheasants to be checked on (only a month until they all get shot) so it's all a bit overgrown.

The evening light was lovely - September is such a beautiful month in this part of the world. I wandered around for an hour before tea, enjoying the sunshine.
