We were along here before 9 o’clock this morning. I had several layers on, but no hat and gloves. Oops! The wind was bitter and biting, which meant we had to up our usual pace. I even took the steps, all 70 of them, or thereabouts, at twice my usual breathless trudge.
It’s been pretty cool indoors today, but I’ve resisted putting the heating on. I need to wait as long as possible.
In the afternoon I made Oat Cookies from the recipe that Judith shared last week and c1aire shared the link to yesterday. Simple ingredients, easy to make, and delicious. I can see them becoming a favourite. (Extra)
