A very alarming day today.

Doris's youngest (who's only 42) had a heart attack this morning, caused by a tear in one of his arteries.

We're so lucky, living in a city where the wait for an ambulance is minutes rather than hours, and in a country where the NHS are bloody magnificent.

He'll be in hospital for a few nights, but he's already feeling much better thanks to the incredible care at Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary.....we are all so grateful to the nurses and doctors there. They are the best.
